Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socio-economic trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Present future scenario analyses to executive leadership and board members with data-driven narratives
- Establish cross-functional foresight frameworks to embed future-readiness into product development cycles
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global innovation forums
- Manage a dedicated futures research team and external partner ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with proficiency in scenario planning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leader with 50+ citations in peer-reviewed foresight publications
- Experience building and leading high-performing futures research teams
