Responsibilities
- Analyze global trends, technological advancements, and societal shifts to identify opportunities and risks for the organization.
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, including scenario planning and trend mapping.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather and synthesize data on emerging technologies and future market conditions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and business strategies.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations.
- Stay current with academic research, industry reports, and thought leadership in futurism and related fields.
- Lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster a culture of innovation and future-oriented thinking.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Data Science, AI, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Expertise in AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and other foresight methodologies.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
