Responsibilities

- Lead scenario-planning workshops to map potential futures and identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with market evolution predictions
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' reports for executive stakeholders and industry thought leaders
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist researchers and domain experts
- Advise on ethical implications of exponential technologies and responsible innovation
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and technology summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting (e.g., from AC/FS)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term transformation
