Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative/qualitative trend models for 2026 technology adoption curves
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite on disruptive market shifts
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with 3-year strategic implications
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing in roadmaps
- Establish global network of futurist researchers and thought leaders
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on emerging tech (AI, quantum, bioconvergence)
- Expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record influencing enterprise-level strategic decisions
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
