Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to optimize real-world problem-solving
- Lead integration of quantum systems with existing cloud infrastructure
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of quantum circuits
- Collaborate with research teams to prototype quantum solutions for industry partners
- Establish quantum security protocols for data encryption and network protection
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming best practices
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware developments and software frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record designing quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and linear algebra
- Published research in quantum computing or related field preferred
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
