Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum network topologies supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Design hybrid quantum-classical cloud infrastructure with <1ms latency
- Lead integration of photonic interconnects with superconducting processors
- Develop quantum-safe encryption protocols for 2026's critical infrastructure
- Optimize quantum error correction algorithms for real-world deployment
- Collaborate with MIT/Caltech researchers on quantum entanglement distribution
- Lead quantum API development for legacy system interoperability
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing/Physics or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years designing fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Expertise in cryogenic control systems and microwave engineering
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum networking
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction frameworks
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Security clearance for government quantum projects (preferred)
- Patents in quantum communication or distributed quantum computing
