Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Develop error correction protocols and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum algorithm research
- Translate quantum computing capabilities into industry-specific solutions
- Drive roadmap for quantum-classical hybrid computing infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with demonstrated qubit scaling achievements
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Qiskit)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Track record of translating quantum theory into practical applications
