Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum processors with >1000 logical qubits by 2026
- Design error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams across physics, engineering, and software domains
- Develop quantum annealing and gate-based system blueprints
- Optimize cryogenic control systems for sub-10mK operation
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Drive quantum-classical hybrid computing integration strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware development
- Expertise in superconducting qubit or trapped-ion technologies
- Published research in Nature/Science journals preferred
- Proficiency in quantum error correction algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
- Strong background in quantum simulation frameworks
