Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026 commercial deployment
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols at scale
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and security specialists
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Create roadmaps for quantum-classical hybrid system integration
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through NIH/NSF proposals
- Pioneer quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
- Track record of securing federal quantum computing grants
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, Qibo)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant design
