Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 2026+ commercial viability
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term market evolution
- Partner with R&D to prototype breakthrough solutions in quantum/AI convergence
- Build and manage external innovation ecosystems including academic and startup partnerships
- Translate complex technological trends into actionable business opportunities
- Present foresight frameworks to investors and executive stakeholders
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futures research
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech, or AI ethics
- Proven track record of launching technology with 5+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in high-growth environments
- Published thought leadership on emerging technology trends
