Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies (2026-2031)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and market opportunities
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation with business strategy
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Present strategic forecasts to investors and board stakeholders
- Mentor next-gen engineers in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Expertise in emerging tech forecasting (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong financial modeling and budget management skills
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
- Experience scaling global innovation programs
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
