Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Develop predictive market models using AI/ML to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging sectors
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present forward-looking strategies to the board and executive leadership with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, corporate development, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 5+ year market impact cycles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies; PhD or MBA preferred
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP, CPS)
