Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market transformation
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite stakeholders and investors
- Maintain competitive intelligence through trend analysis and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership with proven 5-year planning success
- Expertise in future-casting methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI, blockchain, IoT)
- Experience scaling pilot projects to enterprise-level solutions
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent)
- Track record of securing $1M+ innovation funding
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
