Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
- Publish industry thought leadership on future trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ years market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Published futurist research or patents in transformative technologies
- Experience managing $10M+ innovation portfolios
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
