Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ technology trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics)
- Develop strategic frameworks integrating emerging tech into core business operations
- Present actionable insights to executive stakeholders and board committees
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions
- Author thought leadership reports on industry disruption scenarios
- Guide cross-functional teams in adopting forward-looking methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- 8+ years in tech strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, blockchain)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business value
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
