Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmap by analyzing emerging trends and market disruption signals
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, product) to execute future-tech initiatives
- Partner with C-suite to align strategic vision with 5-year business objectives
- Conduct horizon-scanning across quantum, AI, and biotech sectors
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with academic research institutions
- Present future-tech scenarios to stakeholders and investors
- Drive innovation sprints focused on 2026 market opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong background in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications
