Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze technological, social, and economic trends shaping 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision initiatives
- Author thought leadership content and scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite audiences
- Identify emerging threats/opportunities through competitive intelligence and horizon scanning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Present findings to investors, partners, and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech strategy domains
- Proficiency in strategic forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on future-proofing strategies
