As a key member of our Future Intelligence division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global innovation hubs to identify paradigm shifts in AI, biotechnology, sustainability, and human-computer interaction. Your insights will directly influence product roadmaps, investment decisions, and organizational transformation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends across technology, markets, and social behavior by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models and strategic roadmaps for emerging domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership reports and executive briefings on future-facing opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate concepts
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory developments impacting long-term strategy
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI-driven analytics
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight certification program)
