- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial applicability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable scenarios
- Produce high-impact trend reports and future-state visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype solutions for anticipated market disruptions
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight program effectiveness
- Represent the organization at global futurism and innovation conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related discipline
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with data visualization capabilities
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Experience leading global remote teams across cultural boundaries
