Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation and disruption
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefings on technological singularity impacts
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed futuristic thinking into product development
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight effectiveness and ROI
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Published thought leadership on AI, quantum computing, or biotechnology disruption
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning Platform, Trend Hunter)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Shell Two Scenarios)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic implementations from foresight insights
