Responsibilities
- Research and forecast technological, social, and economic trends through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-scanning into corporate strategy
- Author thought leadership on disruptive technologies and their societal impact
- Identify investment opportunities in frontier technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of exponential technologies
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executive strategy
- Experience with patent analysis and technology valuation
