- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, stress-testing business models against future disruptions
- Identify and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with transformative potential
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Author high-impact trend reports and thought leadership content positioning Nexus as a futurist authority
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and critical thinking techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains: generative AI, AR/VR, decentralized systems, and climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-oriented initiatives
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists preferred)
