Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology/society foresight framework using advanced scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging opportunities and threats in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Produce high-impact strategic white papers and executive briefings on future market disruptions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs to accelerate foresight capabilities
- Design and pilot prototype solutions for anticipated 2026 challenges in climate resilience and digital sovereignty
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts while maintaining thought leadership through keynotes and published research
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent futurist role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused initiatives
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies on multi-year transformation programs
