Responsibilities
- Forecast market shifts and technological disruptions through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 2026-2030 technology adoption curves
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-proofing initiatives
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive decision-making
- Identify emerging technologies with transformative potential for industry disruption
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or relevant STEM field
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFIP) preferred
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning presentation skills
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technology impacts
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Futures Platform)
