Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technological, social, and economic domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for business units
- Conduct scenario planning and risk modeling for emerging disruptions
- Present insights to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications and future-state whitepapers
- Mentor junior futurists and drive futures literacy across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record in translating foresight into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis methodologies, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic frameworks
