Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and human-machine integration
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with Fortune 500 partners to forecast industry disruptions
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in Nature and MIT Technology Review
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for experimental prototyping of 2026-vintage technologies
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Mentor a team of 12 futurist researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Cognitive Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE) on emerging technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ breakthrough innovations commercialized in the last 5 years
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience advising C-suite executives on technology strategy and digital transformation
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Track record of securing $1M+ in research grants or venture funding
