Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive trends and market opportunities
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for future economic, regulatory, and technological shifts
- Design strategic frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology integration
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions
- Present executive briefings on emerging technologies and their strategic implications
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or technology innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFP, APF)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and predictive analytics platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or strategic frameworks
