Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging trends, technologies, and disruptions that will impact our business and industry by 2026.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive future scenario planning framework to guide company strategy and innovation.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align future opportunities with current business objectives.
- Present complex future insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members.
- Build and maintain a network of external experts, thought leaders, and innovators to stay ahead of the curve.
- Author thought leadership content, including reports, white papers, and presentations, to establish our company as a leader in future thinking.
- Mentor and coach junior team members on strategic foresight methodologies and innovation practices.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology, Business) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation, or a related role, with a focus on future trends and emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic foresight initiatives in a corporate or startup environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate future scenarios to diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, quantum computing, biotechnology) and their potential impact on society and business.
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and other foresight methodologies.
