Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and translate insights into 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Design and lead innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Develop foresight frameworks for emerging markets and disruptive technologies
- Present executive briefings on future scenarios and risk-mitigation strategies
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, autonomous systems)
- Author thought leadership publications for industry conferences and journals
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Proven track record of launching future-ready products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or Business Strategy
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI) and storytelling expertise
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (HBR, MIT SMR)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
