Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech) to develop 2026 strategic scenarios
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present compelling future-state narratives to investors and board members
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and adoption velocity
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for emerging technology commercialization
- Mentor a team of 3-5 futurist analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of implementing disruptive technologies at scale
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (journal articles, books)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and venture capital audiences
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized innovations
