Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum AI, biotech interfaces, and sustainable energy systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning across emerging tech domains (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify disruptive startups for strategic partnerships
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Maintain thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conference keynotes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, neurotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven ability to secure multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives (include 3+ case studies)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
