Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal patterns through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging innovations (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Facilitate executive workshops translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Build ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership reports on technological convergence and ethical implications
- Drive cross-functional alignment between R&D, product, and market teams
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technological adoption
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech stacks (quantum, AI, blockchain, neurotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex concepts
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (Horizon scanning, Delphi method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Strong network with futurists, VCs, and academic research institutions
