Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum-secure communications and neural interfaces
- Lead market analysis and competitive intelligence for next-gen tech ecosystems
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate disruptive technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Manage $15M+ R&D budget allocation across future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent industry breakthrough achievements
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+ scale)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech forums
