Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed in 2026 and beyond
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into design processes
- Research emerging societal implications of advanced AI technologies
- Produce whitepapers and guidelines for responsible AI deployment
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry coalitions and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible development practices
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in AI ethics, policy, or responsible tech governance
- Deep understanding of machine learning fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT) principles
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable guidelines
- Strong background in interdisciplinary research methods
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with AI/ML system architecture and deployment
