About the Role:
As a Weekend Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our employees' IT needs. You will ensure business continuity by providing top-tier technical assistance during our peak operational hours on the weekends. This is a critical role that requires a sharp technical mind and a patient, customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to internal staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues (laptops, desktops, printers) and software conflicts.
- Manage and update the IT helpdesk ticketing system to ensure 100% ticket closure rate.
- Perform preventative maintenance and security updates on weekend shifts.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new employee workstations.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our knowledge base.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Must be available to work alternating weekends (e.g., Saturday & Sunday or Sunday & Monday).
- Ability to diagnose problems independently and escalate complex issues when necessary.
