Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, EKGs, and preliminary assessments
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate patient flow and manage electronic health records
- Assist with minor procedures and wound care
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active MA License or CMA/RMA certification
- Minimum 1 year urgent care or emergency room experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure shifts
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- COVID-19 vaccination up-to-date
