Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, EKGs, and wound care
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Administer injections and medications per physician protocols
- Coordinate with laboratory services for specimen processing
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year urgent care or emergency room experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Washington state MA license in good standing
