Responsibilities
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and medications under provider supervision
- Perform EKGs, vital sign monitoring, and basic lab procedures
- Assist with patient intake, documentation, and electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical team
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to cover weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Basic phlebotomy and EKG certification
