Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and treatment assistance
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Assist with patient triage and emergency response protocols
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless patient transitions
- Perform diagnostic tests and specimen collection procedures
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Michigan Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
