Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharge processes during weekend shifts
- Manage patient flow and scheduling for weekend medical appointments
- Assist with medical documentation using Epic EHR systems
- Provide direct patient support and family communication
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical supplies
- Handle urgent patient inquiries and triage requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience (weekend experience a plus)
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6AM-6PM)
