Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 6am-6pm)
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless clinic operations
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Handle urgent patient triage and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR experience)
- Weekend availability mandatory (no exceptions)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
