Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatment protocols
- Perform vital sign checks, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Maintain accurate medical records using our EHR system
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Coordinate with emergency services when necessary
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
