Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Prepare examination rooms and medical supplies for weekend procedures
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families during weekend hours
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification or medical assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in healthcare setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Spanish fluency preferred (bilingual candidates encouraged)
