Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including mobility assistance and medication monitoring
- Document patient vitals and care activities in electronic health records
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless weekend care transitions
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and emergency protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Deliver empathetic patient education and family communication
- Participate in weekend staff development and training sessions
Qualifications
- Current Michigan CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute or long-term care
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Availability to work every weekend (Sat/Sun) with occasional holidays
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Exceptional time management and crisis response abilities
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
