Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare merchandise for shipping using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before they are shipped to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Material Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems safely.
- Shipment Preparation: Label packages correctly and load trucks efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping orders.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic Computer Literacy: Comfortable using handheld scanners or computer terminals.
