Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/CCU settings
- Monitor and interpret complex telemetry data with rapid intervention protocols
- Administer emergency medications and life-sustaining treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with 100% compliance
- Participate in rapid response team activations and code blue events
- Mentor new staff and contribute to unit quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience (ICU/CCU)
- BSN degree or enrollment in BSN program
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Exceptional critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments with composure
- Strong communication skills for patient/family education
