Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to ER patients in fast-paced trauma and emergency situations
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Triage patients based on severity and prioritize life-threatening conditions
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma nursing experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN considered with 5+ years experience)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
