Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Administer medications and perform basic lab testsMaintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized
Qualifications
- Current Maryland Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
