Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations ensuring optimal efficiency and safety compliance
- Manage team of 10-15 hourly staff including scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement process improvements for weekend inventory management and order fulfillment
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless weekend handovers with weekday operations
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Resolve operational escalations and maintain real-time communication with leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/supervisory experience with weekend shift management
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong conflict resolution and team leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-hours
- Valid Indiana driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with occasional overtime
