Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration during weekend shifts
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure compliance with protocols
- Participate in weekend shift handoffs and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license with no restrictions
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
